Introduced in 2015 and featuring the Ferrari Laferrari, McLaren P1, and Porsche 918 Spyder models, the LEGO Speed Champion Cars are auto-racing-inspired designs on a six-inch long base so that there can be more details included in the design of the finished LEGO models. The Porsche 911 GT3 and the Formula 1 McLaren and Ferrari race cars also were included in the initial line-up.
As the third most popular LEGO line, new models are added each year including Audi, Bugatti, Chevrolet, Ford, and Mercedes-Benz.
